Sitting Shiva - Afterlife Trailer (no speaking)

Sitting Shiva is my contribution to the Afterlife Project of the collab between the Museum für Sepulkralkultur and my university, Kunsthochschule Kassel. My game tells the story of a grieving person who is sitting shiva. An act where for 7 days after the funeral of a loved one, jewish tradition asks of mourners to stay home, not do any work and just focus on grieving. Family and community come to care for you with food and companionship and you say special prayers together.
In my game, you inhabit the body of a grieving person in a jewish house, experiencing in visual allegory the psychological effects of grief as you look for an exit... the end of the week.
