An 8 mile circular walk starting and ending in Tideswell, Derbyshire. Tideswell is a beautiful village boasting many pubs, shops and independent retailers. Tideswell Church is so grand that it is often referred to as cathedral of the peak, it is a beautiful 14th century building and is well worth a visit if you get chance.

The walk takes you first into Tideswell dale, where you can find a number of small caves, you will go past Litton Mill and towards Ravenstor. This was the first time id heard of this place and thought it was just a handful of houses but I later drove past YHA Ravenstor, which could be a good option for affordable accommodation if you're not local to the area.

Cressbrook Dale is next which doesn't seem a popular route at all, across to Tansley Dale and into the village of Litton. This circular walk takes a right away from the village but it could be a good option for a pub stop if you're wanting refreshments at this stage. Tideswell is only a couple of mile from here but options are always good. This is a gorgeous walk that I would recommend to anyone.
