Hogfather is a book that became a miniseries that contained a whole lot of quasi-sexual tension between the protagonist (Susan Sto Helit) and the antagonist (Jonathan Teatime). Maybe that's not surprising considering that physiological arousal is easily misattributed to fancying someone when really you're just afraid, or excited, or on a rollercoaster...or hate their guts because they're trying to kill Santa.
