This is a simple explanation of how a refrigerator can stop cooling, even if there is nothing wrong with the fridge.

My daughter was being a little ham in the video, I hope I got the point across. lol

I used to run into this on a daily basis doing service on the road. If your refrigerator is a victim of the door being left open, just use a hair dryer on the damper in the freezer to thaw out the frost. You'll know when you have cleared the vent from the freezer to the fridge when you can feel the air blowing into the refrigerator compartment.
