The Battle of Aachen was also known as American Stalingrad. About 100,000 soldiers were killed in the battle. The Germans lost 7,000 soldiers while the latter lost 5,000 soldiers. The Americans lost 5,000 soldiers with 2,000 wounded. This was the first battle fought in Germany. The Battle came to an American victory.
