Inauguration of the famous Biswasanthi Hingula Yajna in Kakhdi.

The famous Vishwashanti Hingula Yangya has started in Kakhdi village under Tangi Chowdwar block of Cuttack district. On Sunday morning at 8 am in Kakhdi and its surrounding areas. Around 500 women march from Baba Banchheswar Temple to the banks of the Mahanadi Ghatkula to the Kakhadi with the Naam Sankirtan, the sound of the trumpet, the sound of bell, hulahuli.

Many dignitaries of the village were present. In this Maha Yajna, which was established in 67 years, according to the ritual principles, after worshiping, the fire is set in the Yajna Kund and the Yajna begins. The yajna committee has informed that this maha yajna will continue for the next 3 days. Next Tuesday afternoon at 4.45 pm, PURNAHUTI(Closing Ceremony/End of Yangya) will be done.

Vashashanti Hingula Maha Yajna organized for 3 days at Yajna in Kakhdi ,at Lord Bancheswar Temple has been completed. Many Institutions such as Baba Banchheswar Seva Organisation, Satyasai Seva Organisation, Sarathi Baba Organisation, Hindu Sena ,etc had given water,dahi lassi,colddrinks,
watermelon, to devotees.
Prasevan was also done whole day to the devotiees. In the evening, the incident was dispersed in Mahanadi. Village Committee President Dilip Kumar Chattar, Editor Santosh Vedant, Yajna Committee President Chandrasekhar Parida, Mayadhar Dadai, Narayan Sahu, Santosh Kumar Sahu and the youth of the village conducted the Yajna.
