This is a pretty tough battle to complete all the challenges on. Taking no damage is not all that hard once you have gone through the battle a few times, the hard part lies in defeating the boss under 4:30 minutes. There is A LOT of egg management in this battle, and especially in the beginning you need to farm some eggs to be able to finish under the time limit.
The battle is divided into two phases, where it's in phase 2 you can strike a meteorite with the hammer. Let's begin with phase 1:
Phase 1
This phase can be divided into three sub-phases, where Bowser will change his attacks and weapons each time he's been ground pounded.
[Sub-Phase 1]
After jumping over the cars one time each, eat ALL five Shy Guys that comes from above. If you are fast enough, you can hit one of the cars while they are still held up in the air, shaving off some time. After both cars are destroyed, DO NOT attack Bowser! Instead, wait for him to shoot some fire, and then five more Shy Guys will appear, giving you a full egg arsenal. Now you are free to attack him, and give him a good slappin'.
The reason we wait here, is because the time from when Bowser starts his attack (the fire), to when the shy guys appear, is significantly shorter than it is in sub-phase 2. Also, here we get five eggs, instead of three in sub-phase 2.
[Sub-Phase 2]
After evading his spinning Bullet Bill attack, now we need to hit both hammers that he pulls out. If you are fast enough you can hit one of them twice while they are stationary in the air. I recommend being very careful and only fire an egg when you know for sure you're gonna hit.
Now, keep don't attacking Bowser to build up the egg supply. You get three from each round of Shy Guys that appear. Shoot Bowser again to make him fall down, and give him more slappies.
[Sub-Phase 3]
After the spinning attack, now you can just shoot the two new weapons and Bowser, since you have exactly five eggs. As with before, be sure your eggs will hit. This marks the end of Phase 1, and your time should be a little over 2 minutes.
Phase 2
This phase seems complex, since Bowser uses so many different attacks, and things seem random. But there is an easy method to deal with these things. Ignore the numbers on the slot completely, it doesn't matter one bit here.
For starters, jump over his fire attack. On his next attack when he throws stars, be sure to eat the two yellow ones by the end to get eggs (it'll save you around ten seconds in a moment). Let him attack with his hammer, shoot it with an egg, then shoot the hammer on the LEFT holder.
Now, when Bowser jumps to the left (he always does for me), hit him with the hammer to cancel his fire attack. This is a HUGE timesaver, so be sure to put the hammer on the left side. Now, if you picked up both eggs from the previous star attack, you can hit him again to cancel his second star attack. If you don't have a spare egg, go through with his star attack again (you'll lose a small amount of time this way, but can still make it in time).
Shoot his other hammer and put it on the right, then hit him back to the center once he jump to the right. Spam the hammer button until he gets knocked back (1/3 hits completed).
When the meteorites come, use the left hammer to shoot it at Bowser (earning you one Smiley Flower). Hit him to the center again when he's about to do a fire attack. Grab two new eggs from the star attack. Steal BOTH of his pencil sharpeners, and plug the right holder immediately.
Attack him on the side he decides to go to (in my case it was right), then spam the attack when he is at the center (2/3 hits completed). Use the second pencil sharpener to plug the right side.
Do the same thing as in the previous meteorite segment (knocking back the big meteorite saves time, so do that).
Now, use one of the items to attack (which he will grab), then use the other one to deal the finishing blow!
My final time was 4:13, and I used a few timesavers during the second phase. Doing a few minor mistakes here and there won't be a dealbreaker, and you'll still be able to get a time under 4.30.
If you have any strategies for this fight to make it easier to get under 4.30 minutes, I'd really like to know!
