Norton Summit, South Australia:
"Norton Summit (formerly Norton's Summit) is a town in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, located approximately 12 km east of the city of Adelaide. "It is well known for the popular Scenic Hotel, founded in the 1870s, often considered one of the best pubs in Adelaide. Another landmark is St. John's Church, founded with the assistance of the Baker family at around the same time."

Lobethal, South Australia:
"Lobethal /ˈloʊbəθəl/ is a town in the Adelaide Hills area of South Australia. It is located in the Adelaide Hills Council local government area, and is nestled on the banks of a creek between the hills and up the sides of the valley. It was once the centre of the Adelaide Hills wool processing industry, which continued until around 1950. The mill buildings are now used by a number of cottage industry and handcraft businesses. At the 2016 census, Lobethal had a population of 2,135."

In this video, JOM and his partner, Lady Gravel Cyclist, enjoy perfect weather and a route of JOM's design. This route takes in many of the mixed-surface roads that proliferate the Adelaide Hills, with nary a flat road to be found.
