Varanasi - Spiritual Capital of India is located 1800kms from Namma Bengaluru is a city in Uttar Pradesh known for thousands of temple , Ghats , Ganga Aarti and its famous street foods.

Its reachable by direct train from Bengaluru costs about 800rs in Sleeper. Costs around 5000 Through flight.

Minimum time required to visit Varansi is 3-4 days.

We reached Varanasi around 6:30am through IRCTC train and took a local auto to a place called Bhelupur where we had booked our stay at GoStops. Its a traveller Hostel costs around 500-600 per day.
You can book it through online apps such as Goibibo , makemytrip.

1. The Ram Bhandar
We started our day 2 with famous street food at Thatheri Bazar!
Established in the year 1887. A 136 year old place called as 'The Ram Bhandar' is known for their Kachori , Jalebi and Lassi for breakfast.

Then we went to a place called 'Sarnath' which is located 10kms from Varanasi. Its a place where Buddism is followed and lot of Ancient monasteries , Museum and Stupas.
It can be covered within half a day and Auto can be hired for up and down with a cost of around 500-600.

2. Kashi Chat Bhandar
Generally Varanasi known for its street chats. Almost every street at Varanasi serves Chats. In that most famous are Kashi Chat Bhandar and Deena Chat Bhandar.
We tried chats at Kashi Chat Bhandar. We ordered Varanasi special chat called as 'Tamatar Chat'.Priced at 50/- is completly unique and worth it.

3. The Blue Lassi Shop
A 90 year old Lassi Shop which serves 120 variety of Lassi. We tried their Saffron dry fruit lassi which is priced at 120 is definitely disappointing.
The lassi is traditonally hand churned. However, it is over dominated by dry fruits. A completly hyped place , not worth it.

5. Lakshmi Chai Wala
Toast & Chai - Varansi people's staple food. They serve Malai toast , Makkan Toast and chai.
Definitely a must try place when you are at Varanasi.
