In this video I go into detail about how I set up the expectations, routines and stations for my Daily 5 rotation, including how my students manage the transition themselves.

The first part of this video explains how to set up the expectations with your students, how to set them up for success with individualized reading bags, and practicing reading stamina (we call it reading muscles!)

Next I show what each of the stations look like in my own classroom with real examples. Finally, I share how to set up your transitions like a champ so that you don't even have to get up from your guided reading table!
