Elton John - Street Kids - Live in San Diego 1975

Before I upload a performance that a lot of people will enjoy, I'd showcase a song from a brand new source of San Diego 1975, taped by the legendary Mike "the MICrophone" Millard. This recording is in excellent quality.

Originally an inferior source existed which only contained 10 songs. This source includes virtually the entire show. Now, onto this specific performance...

This is the only known recorded performance of Street Kids, an album track from Rock of the Westies. Unfortunately, Elton is not in the best of vocal shape for the first night of the tour. He sounds rough, and ends up screeching towards the end of the song. The band is also not very tight (the backing vocals sound off and the musicianship isn't the best here). This song would not last long in the set, as it dropped by the Tempe, AZ show, the 4th show.
