The film would have followed been a sequel to the 1998 Godzilla film and the second part of a trilogy of Godzilla films.

The film would have begin shortly after the end of the previous Godzilla film. The character Nick Niko Tatopoulos would be feeling guilt from destroying Godzilla and would go searching for any traces of its dead offspring, killed in the last film. Nick would discover one of the baby Godzilla's had surviving and helped it escape to the sea.

Two years later, the world would be rocked by strange occurances including a ship found with all its passengers missing, and village in Fiji where all of its inhabitants vanish.

Nick is recruited by the French secret service agent Philipe Roach who has correctly guessed that the bady Godzilla has survived. And blames these disappearances on him. Nick and Philip find the Godzilla, now fully grown, in the Australian outback, trying to raise a family of its own. It turns out the Godzila has imprinted on Nick, and now sees him as its parent. Here Nick and Philip would meet Anna Chalton, a no nonsense biologist who has been hunting Godzilla for some time now.

The film introduces Monster Island, and location from the Japanese films, here reimagined as an island contamininated by radiation, and home to numerous mutant creatures. The island is ruled by a giant termite called the Queen Bitch.

It later turns out that the Queen has had her fellow inspects kidnapping the missing people and is using them as food for her young. She intends to spread her species across the world and has already laid a giant egg in Sydney as the start of her world conquest.

Godzilla would have taken on a more heroic role in the film. He and his kind would be presented as the natural predator for to the mutant termites and Godzilla would battle the Queen in Sydney, before hunting her down to monster island and aiding the military in destroying her and her nest.

I could find any footage of giant termites, so I had to improvise. I hope the substitutes work fine.
