Kayak Austria | Landeck Gorge of the River Inn

A BIG water run down the Landeck Gorge of the River Inn here in Austria. The river was in flood with heavy rain and the Spring snowmelt causing the dams to open up completely. This was the highest level I had ever run this section of the River Inn. Kayaking through the town of Landeck in Tirol people were amazed to see someone kayaking at such a high level. This region of Austria has the longest kayaking season in Europe from mid-April through to the end of November. Kayaking in Austria really is a special way of seeing this beautiful Alpine country.
