The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce presented the KTLA 5 Morning News team with an Award of Excellence in celebration of the newscast's 30th anniversary.

Eric Spillman and Sam Rubin helped Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Rana Ghadban unveil the Walk of Fame-style star presented to the station.

Debuting on July 8, 1991, the KTLA Morning News featured anchors Carlos Amezcua and Barbara Beck.

30 years later, the Morning News show has extended into an hourslong program that begins at 4 a.m. Monday through Friday and takes viewers all the way into the afternoon. More on the celebration and history at ktla.com/30.
