2018 RetroSkins Highlights: Green Bay Packers vs Washington Redskins

Описание к видео 2018 RetroSkins Highlights: Green Bay Packers vs Washington Redskins

For a hot minute, it looked like the 2018 Redskins might be a real competitor. Washington got off to a strong start, with signature wins over the Panthers, Cowboys, Cardinals, and this – a surprisingly easy win over the visiting Green Bay Packers.

A revived Adrian Peterson ran for over 100 yards and a pair of TDs, and newly acquired Alex Smith picked the Pack apart in the first half, rolling up a 28-10 halftime lead that proved too much for error-prone Green Bay. Rogers had his moments, but was undone by poor pass protection, untimely penalties and his fumble-fingered teammates.

Rogers finished 4-4 vs the Redskins during his time in Green Bay, but 0-4 in Washington (well, Maryland) in regular season games. This loss would be a bad omen for the Packers, who crumbled to a rare losing (6-9-1) record. Washington fared little better overall, as a promising 6-3 start sunk to a 7-9 finish after the loss of Smith to injury in week 10.
