Sci-Fi Wednesdays - HLI Halloween Group Build - Night Trooper - Ep. 3 Final

Hey everyone! We are back for another episode of Sci-Fi Wednesdays and today we are finishing up our custom 1/12th scale Night Trooper. Just as a reminder, this kit is the Sand Trooper kit by Bandai and we are customizing it to make our Night Trooper from the Ashoka series.

Today we are going to put the finishing touches on the armor, the base, and add in all of the details. That means that we have to scar up the armor, add in the gold inlays, and we need to apply the red wraps. We also need to make our base, and I want to try and evoke more of the Ashoka vibe and create a stone base and some extra detail. Lots of work ahead, so let's get started!

This year, I wanted to join in on the HLI group build and build something in tribute to Boyd. Something that combined not only my love of sci-fi, but with a touch of horror. I can never truly express just how influential Boyd was in my own personal modeling journey, but I hope that I can make something interesting that will honor his legacy. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I know this series isn't as popular as my other military builds, but I am so very thankful to all of you who enjoy the series. It means a lot to be able to have fun with these types of kits.
