True Mods universal 5 pin 12v relay box wiring

Описание к видео True Mods universal 5 pin 12v relay box wiring

Part 3 of the 1975 F250 restoration. Bought a True mods 5-pin auxiliary relay box that was prewired. The instructions suck if you're not really familiar with relay wiring. Nice waterproof enclosure and easy wiring. Most relay boxes you buy on Amazon or eBay such as DaierTek or the various others, are very similar. Just check to see if they are 4 or 5 pin relays. Wiring will be the same for all of them but if they are a 4 pin, they you will not have the yellow wire or whatever color they utilize in the 87a pin on back of the relay. Relays are a great way to run high amperage accessories to basic switches. They provide safety and allow you to use smaller gauge wires to the switches. Be sure you see what size fuse is outlined by the manufacture of the device you are attaching to the relay box to ensure that you change out the fuse that came with the unit to the one that meets the manufactures recommendations.
