Brumm is a member of the Grimm Troupe. Although he initially encourages the Knight to search for flames for the Grimmchild, he begins having second thoughts about the Ritual later on.

Nymm is a bug who arrives in Dirtmouth after the Grimm Troupe is banished. He plays an accordion-like bug to bring cheer to the fading town, although he admits that even his song is a little on the sadder side.
"I find the place a little melancholy, what with the wind, and the darkness, and the sense of decline... I was hoping my music could go some way to livening up the place."
