MQA Renderer setup - TIDAL (nano iDSD BL)

Описание к видео MQA Renderer setup - TIDAL (nano iDSD BL)

This computer audio tutorial highlights how to go about setting up TIDAL to enable MQA playback. Disabling 'Passthrough MQA' allows TIDAL's software unfolding process to do the first stages, whilst allowing the iFi DAC to perform the 2nd part of the MQA unfolding process.

We have used our iDSD Nano BL for demonstration purposes - this video is purely to show how to correctly setup TIDAL for the 1st stage of the 'unfolding' MQA process, the iFi DAC will correctly unfold the 2nd stage. It is not specifically for the iDSD Nano BL only, please refer to our MQA upgrade guide or user manual for MQA colour as our original units dating back to 2013 are also MQA compatible, though the LED colour will vary slightly.

Note:

Have an iFi DAC without MQA? No problem, just check here: https://ifi-audio.com/mqa-firmware/

It's FREE!

Please refer to our MQA upgrade guide or user manual for MQA colour as the MQA led on our original units dating back to 2013 will vary slightly.

For Windows, our driver needs to be installed which is found here: https://ifi-audio.com/downloads/

At the above link, firmware for MQA to be installed via USB into the Pro iDSD is also found on the same page.
