The 13-year-old breeding stallion Captain Cooper is one of the showpieces of this edition of the Black Horses Auction. Ridden by Johnny Pals, Captain Cooper collected several international victories and jumped clear at CSI5*-level. Captain Cooper successfully participated in the 1.50m classes at CSIO5* Falsterbo and was placed many times in 1.45m classes. As a son of top-class stallion Cooper van de Heffinck, Captain Cooper is also very interesting as a breeding stallion. Sire Cooper van de Heffinck brought among others world-class showjumpers like Hello Jefferson (Scott Brash), Kriskas DV (Bart Bles) and Igor van de Wittemoere (Nayel Nassar). In addition, Captain Cooper's dam Beauty also produced the successful showjumping horses Carl and Cup Cooper. In breeding, Captain Cooper already distinguished himself with several successful offspring, such as the 1.45m showjumpers Captain Keep Coor R and Haranka, as well as the 1.40m horses Isabel, California Pie and the approved stallion Incognito BH.
