Ms. Reshma Rangrez's love for society has no end. She sacrificed her family life for the sake of country.

She never had an easy life. Trapped in a difficult marriage, she was a victim of domestic violence. Regularly beaten and abused by her husband, she continued to endure for the sake of her children.

Reshma's husband, Ahmed was picked up by the anti-terrorism squad for questioning in 2006. She ran from pillar to post to get him acquitted.

One day in a fit of rage, he told Reshma that he had bombs that he planned to detonate. She got worried for the safety of her children and for the innocent people, who could become victims.

She quietly moved out of her house, alerted the neighbors and rushed to a telephone booth to call the police.

Reshma's hunch was right. Ahmed was arrested and live cartridges, a double barrel gun and seven crude bombs were recovered from him.

Later, it was discovered that he and his accomplices wanted to create panic during Jagannath Yatra but had developed cold feet. They had also planned a series of blasts in Ahmedabad.
