Our 7-year-old son finished Math-U-See Pre-Algebra two months ago and is now progressing through Algebra 1. He’s really loving it. He’s also doing it alongside RightStart Mathematics Level E, which he finds super fun and is just full of gems (as you may know, it has extra tactics, alternative concepts and perspectives and honest-to-goodness mathspiration, not to mention non-intuitive methods). We’ve also added another program, The Art of Problem Solving: Introduction to Algebra, by Richard Rusczyk, ----He’s really keen on it too. It's a rigorous and challenging curriculum that we’ve sought out, at his request, so that he can push limits and help to satiate his ravenous curiosity. And that’s what we’ve got planned for his math for the year to come!
