The proximity key on my Ducati Multistrada 1200 is defective.

I took this video to demonstrate the issue that my dealer says is non-existent and Ducati says it's due to atmospheric conditions even though it took me two seconds to find online that it's a well known issue.

Florida Sports Cycle says it's normal and that I should keep my key in my front pocket of fairing.
That doesn't work.

Ducati say that it might be due to radio interference (even though my BMW key always works fine).
I looked online and found that I'm not the only one with this issue so they know what's going on.

I have stalled out on my bike and nearly gotten run over since the bike won't start again.

I've risked being mugged in bad neighborhoods where I'm not able to start my motorcycle quickly.

The distracting key warning that covers critical dashboard information comes on frequently and I've almost run into other vehicles turning if off.

My dealer has been brushing this issue to the side. Ducati is not really providing a solution.

I am trying to escalate the issue so that it's fixed.

Nice motorcycle but there are some qualities issues I've been having since day one.
(includes a faulty gas sensor, tape coming off the seat, cracked new side bags).

All I want is to get this fixed and not be 'preso in giro'. That's an Italian phrase that means getting taking for a ride or being fooled.
