You can now FINALLY FaceTime with more than one person! Watch this tutorial video to learn how to start a group FaceTime call in 2 different ways.

Group FaceTime works pretty similar to 1-on-1 FaceTime. There are 2 ways to start a group FaceTime. The first way is to open the FaceTime app. Then tap the plus sign in the top right corner. Type in the names of the contacts you want to include in your group. You can have up to 32 people in the group, including yourself. Once you’ve added everyone to the group, select Audio or Video at the bottom to start the call.

Alternatively, if you have a group iMessage conversation with the people you want to FaceTime, tap the names at the top of the group chat, then tap the FaceTime icon. Your friends will be notified and have the option to join the call.

Group FaceTime looks a little different than 1-on-1 FaceTime, as each participant in the group appears on a separate tile, rather than one person filling the screen. Tap on one person’s tile to enlarge it. If you want to add another person to the call when you’ve already started, tap the three dots in the bottom right corner. Tap Add Person, then select the contact you want to add. When you’re ready to leave the call, tap the red X at the bottom.
