Ministry of Health and Prevention, Ministry of Health - Abu Dhabi, Dubai Health Authority and Sharjah Health Authority have jointly released the new update.

Until now, registered nurses needed at least two years of work experience after graduation to sit for the licensing exams in the UAE. This relaxation will attract young and skilled talent to the UAE and boost the morale of nursing students and aspirants here, especially those from India and the Philippines.

Registered nurses with a nursing degree of at least two years of study do not need any work experience to obtain a license. However, their registration must be from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, and Australia.
