“Whatsoever You Do” is a social justice themed hymn written by Roman Catholic priest, teacher, playwright, folk-composer and author Willard F. Jabusch.

While the hymn is based on Matthew 25:35-36, (Christ's story about sheep and goats at the last judgement, and Jesus teaching that the only grounds for judgement is whether love has been shown to least of God's people), it also fits well with the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).

Recorded live at St. Francis de Sales Church, Ajax Ontario Canada by the Sunday 7pm Choir. Thanks for listening and God bless.

Lyrics:

Whatsoever you do to the least of my people
That you do unto me.

When I was hungry, you gave me to eat;
When I was thirsty you gave me to drink.
Now enter into the home of my Father.

Whatsoever you do to the least of my people
That you do unto me.

When I was weary, you helped me find rest;
When I was anxious, you calmed all my fears.
Now enter into the home of my Father.

Whatsoever you do to the least of my people
That you do unto me.

When I was homeless, you opened your door;
When I was naked, you gave me your coat.
Now enter into the home of my Father.
