Go into any theater that offers a free refill on their popcorn during a time of day that isn't busy to them. (Because it can get complicated if you aren't used to this method.) Feel free to research the movie showtimes. Early in the day is best, but if you look closely you can sometimes find a time to go that is twenty minutes after the most recent movie starts, but thirty minutes before the next. 5-10 minutes on either side of a show's start time, and the people who are going to see the movies can get a bit impatient. More experienced Popcorniers, can go any time and not disrupt the flow. (Disrupting the 'Flow' can make the concession experience less enjoyable for customers and employees alike.

Important:
1. Make sure the sign doesn't say "With Movie Purchase" (Movie theaters make their money off of concessions, and not the ticket sales, so you shouldn't run into any that require a ticket purchase.)
2. Bring a bag to put the first fill into.
3. Be polite.
4. If they refuse to give you a free refill (Most places only give one free refill on a large size) And you bought a large:
a. Explain that the sign says you can get one.
b. Keep being polite. (people are more likely to accommodate you if you use Jedi Mind Tricks, er... I mean Manners)
c. If you still cannot get the free refill, ask to speak to the manager.
d. DO NOT DEMAND.
e. ASK the manager to explain why the advertised free refill is unavailable to you.
f. BE POLITE
g. If the concessionist or manager shows you something you missed (like the words "With Movie Purchase" printed on the sign) feel free to say "My bad." and accept your fate, then try another theater.
