(Wild Horse Mountain) Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland. Great 360-degree views. There are no toilet amenities on Wild Horse Mountains or drinking water.
Turn left coming from North or South on M1 Bruce Highway at Johnston Road Exit 171 at Shell Service stations, so this is last pit stop before summit accent. Fairly steep road to walk to top 700 meters. Easy to moderate depending on your level of fitness. Easy if you take your time. Great view of the Glasshouse Mountains and can see Caloundra. Bribie Island and a clear day down to Brisbane. 700 mt walk up bitumen road, no car access. Can go up with pram or stroller just entrance will have to carry for 10 meters from Car park onto road.
