The video you’re watching was captured 100% inside E2V1, using the graphics and settings available in-game. The person who recorded this footage is not affiliated with Earth 2, is not employed by us and was not asked by us to make this video. They simply shared their video via their YouTube channel and we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to showcase it to our wider community!

This is real-time footage running on a non-Earth 2 PC, demonstrating what E2V1 can look like today in closed Pre-Alpha. It’s part of our open development approach, where we allow testers to share and stream gameplay openly so everyone can see how things are evolving.

Pre-Alpha Testers were not required to pay anything to participate. Each applicant simply filled out a form ( https://forms.gle/KAyvtrikwfjfyTFZ7 published in 2024), provided the specifications of their PC, their internet connection, some background about themselves and what type of games they like to play. From there more than 450 testers from over 1,000 applicants were chosen and given access to help us test the closed Pre-Alpha to help us refine the initial features before public release.
