Learn Bolero Dance, Elements of the Basic, August 5, 2024

So Bolero is the dance of the month at Monday Ballroom Dance. Taught by Jennifer and Mary , Bolero is originally from Spain in the 1800s, and over time this dance has become a combination of Waltz, Tango and Rumba. In all its present day variations, its essential nature has persevered...the love of music and movement combined in beautiful, smooth, gliding movements, with graceful arm styling. During the class, Jennifer and Mary took us gradually through the different stages and elements of the Basic, such as weight distribution and balance, combining them at the end into a functional Basic. What a great beginning! Thanks Jennifer and Mary, for introducing us to this world of grace and beauty. Looking forward to more!
