Have you ever thought about living differently? There are many possible ways to run alternative lifestyle and I’m happy to show you two examples of off the grid living in Tenerife.

One is gonna be in a squat complex in Costa del Silencio. The town was thriving tourist hub in the 70s and 80s. Sadly, it began to decline as the new tourist sides were gaining traction during the 90s. With the time passage the majority of the buildings turned into residential properties.

Second alternative lifestyle is living on the boat. I'm gonna trek awesome trail from Costa del Silencio (that not many people know about) up to Marina San Miguel. Marina San Miguel offers extensive vessel service and over 300 docking sites (berths). For that reason it attracts many sailors and boat owners. 20% of them stay here over a year and are considered residents and 80% treat it as a place for a temporary stay.

That is how I was invited to the sailors community life and I'm more suited to it than expected.

This is gonna be a game changer during my travels...
