Not all hikes go as planned. The plan for this thru-hike was laid out carefully and well thought out...Mother Nature however had other plans for us. Let's recap all of the potentially dangerous things that happened on this trail:
1. Crawling Under a Powerline
2. Hiking beyond the outermost physical limits of one's body
3. "Hand of God" type end times lightning and Thunderstorms
4. Creek flooding and rushing water obstacles
The crazy part about all of this is, I still had a good time. Now that I am safe in my home typing this, I can say it is the truth. Every so often, we need to be reminded of our own mortality, which was my turn.
