My teacher recommended me this piece. I doubt I would otherwise have ever heard of Mr Rybicki, but I'm very glad that I did. With the rapidly approaching autumn it's well timed, too.

I started working on this nearly two months ago, at the start of my teacher's summer holidays. It was a hard piece for me to learn, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The left hand accompaniment is the most complex I've ever played, but the melody in the right hand was easy enough.

This recording was made after initially learning the piece. I have not memorized it, hence the need to read from the score while playing. Having only learned it once, there are inevitably things I'd have liked to play differently. I do not claim that this is the way this piece is to be played, nor do I encourage people to copy what I did. I merely record and post this for keeping track of my own progress as a piano player.
