How I Sewed my Basic Caped Dress

Hi folks, in this weeks video I show how I sewed up my basic Caped Dress. The base of this one, just like my last, is super classic in style and with the cape feels so cosy and comfy to wear. Pattern - Self Drafted - Base - Dress Block -    • Dress block or Elongated bodice.

Lining - standard acetate
Stitch length used throughout - 3mm paired with a size 70 sharps needle. The use of both in combination eliminates the need for a zig zag stitch - this was a fabulous tip left by a kind and generous subscriber. Longer stitch length 3-4mm
