This video exists because silence costs lives.

A recent court case involving the death of Kyle forced me to speak about something I stayed quiet about for too long. Years earlier, I reported domestic abuse by the same person. I asked for help. I wasn’t believed. And nothing meaningful was done.

This video is not about attacking individuals, and it is not about denying that women experience abuse. They do, and they deserve support.

This is about acknowledging a reality many people are uncomfortable with:
men can be victims of domestic abuse too.

Men experience fear.
Men ask for help.
And too often, they are dismissed, ignored, or blamed because they don’t fit the stereotype of what a victim is “supposed” to look like.

Abuse does not have a gender.
And when warning signs are ignored, the consequences can be devastating.
