Every Kashmiri, Pakistan and indian is connected with the issue of kashmiras even a smallest kind of happing in the state of jammu and Kashmir valley effects their lives, one way or the other. Kashmir whether it is azad Kashmir, Indian occupied Kashmir or the China administered Aksai Chin is famous all over the world for its tourist attractions. So people of these regions should be well aware of the history of Kashmir before and after 1947. In this video Kashmir history is explained in simple urdu. In the first step how the name Kashmir evolved. There are different stories about name of Kashmir.

How the name Jammu evolved.
There is an interesting story about jammu which was named after the king of Bahor state Jambu lochin.
Total area of undivided State of Jammu and Kashmir was 84471 square miles and consisted of three provinces namely
1-Jammu 2- Kashmir 3- Ladakh and Gilgit
After partition of subcontinent in 1947 India occupies majority area of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan administers 1- Azad Jammu and Kashmir 2- Gilgit-Baltistan
India administers 1- Indian occupied jammu and Kashmir 2- Ladakh
China administers Aksai Chin
Pakistan gifted 1868 square miles area to China.
