I wrote this song about personal struggles not only in me but for everyone who is stuck in various situations in their circumstances and life—In this case, a lifelong state of being trapped, whether in bad relationships, imprisonment, disability, domestic violence or loneliness. It's about being in silence, unable to talk or express themselves due to their circumstances. The inner self remains silent. The song is about breaking free and discovering one's true self and passion, though some don't make it and are claimed by 'silence'.

I hope the lyrics bring different meaning to you, something personalised just for you and you alone, and what your struggles in life have been upon which we can reflect and break the chains of silence before one day, any hope of breaking the silence is gone for good. - Reg 16 December 2024
