In this video, I demonstrate the process I used to install a dropper post to my gravel/rainy day commuter bike. I recently converted the bike to a 1x system, leaving the left/front SRAM Force 22 shifter unused. I show how to convert a SRAM Doubletap shifter into a dropper lever with a simple modification.
I also wanted to incorporate my existing cable stop and under BB cable guide into the mix. The only part not shown in the video you'll need is a second inner shift cable. Follow along as I show how I made it work.
