Most people don't even know this feature exists, but it's right there in your browser waiting to make your life easier. We're talking about reading mode, not the annoying robot voice that reads things out loud, but the actual reading mode that strips away all the junk.
You know how websites today are basically digital billboards? Videos autoplay, ads flash everywhere, social media widgets beg for attention, and somewhere buried in all that chaos is the article you actually wanted to read. Reading mode fixes this mess by removing everything except the text you came for.
In this video we test it out on Microsoft Edge and Firefox, where you can trigger it with F9. Google Chrome has it too but they decided to hide it better. We'll show you exactly how it works and why you might want to start using it, especially if you actually read things on the internet instead of just skimming headlines like most people.
Now, we won't claim that this is some kind of sky-high discovery or a hack that will change everything. It's just a simple feature that does what it got to do, makes reading less painful. Whether that's worth your time depends on how much you actually read online. If you're someone who opens 20 tabs and closes them without reading anything, you can probably skip this one.
