Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39, Urban Estate, Ludhiana, celebrated its Annual Function ‘Saurabh – The Fragrance of Talent’ on 22nd November, 2025 on the school premises. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, along with the Guests of Honour—Rev. Fr. Thomas Kolencherry, Chairman, Diocesan Board of Education, Jalandhar—and other distinguished invitees and the Directors and the Principals of various esteemed institutions, along with the parents and guests, were also received with utmost respect and grace by the school’s dedicated welcome team.
The grand event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a serene and divine Prayer Dance, setting a spiritual tone for the evening. A spectacular curtain-raiser depicting the theme SAURABH marked the beginning of the cultural showcase. The students mesmerized the audience with an impressive array of performances.
The Annual School Report was presented in an innovative manner through a visually engaging live presentation by a team of talented students, highlighting the school’s achievements and milestones over the academic year.
In his address, honourable Chief Guest Mr. Rakesh Kumar, applauded the meticulous performances and appreciated the effort invested by the students and staff.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Thomas Kolencherry, Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Education, congratulated the local management of the school, the parents, and the teachers for presenting a truly outstanding event.
The grand Extravaganza, performed as a culmination of all the acts, received thunderous applause and admiration from the audience.
