Sixteen Pakistani soldiers were killed and more than two dozen others, including civilians, were injured in the deadliest suicide attack of 2025 when a bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a military convoy in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali on June 28. The Hafiz Gul Bahadur faction of the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, which also caused the roofs of two houses to collapse, injuring six children. Watch for more
