This is an album I made years back, that I've decided to upload to my second channel on a whim. I believe it was actually written and recorded right around the time I started the main channel—I was at an extremely low point and needed to convince myself I was capable of doing, well... anything, and so I tasked myself with writing and recording an entire album in the space of a couple of days.

This is the result—a largely improvised amalgamation of influences ranging from the krautrock bands like Can, to the drone metal of Sunn 0))), the bludgeoning, insanely loud volumes of Swans, the noise rock grooves of Melvins, the ambience of Jaga Jazzist and the zen-like repetition of Lungfish. Obviously it being so long ago there are things I'd change now, but that was part of the process back then—give myself over to the creative process and embrace whatever resulted from it.

Looking back I can say I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out. The snappiness of the drum sound in particular is something I've been trying to apply to basically every project I've done going forward, to varying degrees of success. Anyway, I just felt like uploading this thing and if you like it, cool! If not, cool!
