ECP0438 J Neo Marvin and the Content Providers at "Ear Candle Live" Doc's Clock in San Francisco, CA 041204

From 2003 to 2004, Ear Candle Productions hosted a monthly residency at Doc's Clock on Mission St. in San Francisco, featuring a set by J Neo Marvin and the Content Providers with an opening band of our own choosing. This edition of the Content Providers existed between the two sets of sessions for their third album, Freedom Fried. By the time they returned to the studio, only Neo, Davis, and Aaron remained of this lineup, along with Jeremy making a guest appearance. Since the tape ended in the middle of the song You Of All People, we added the remainder of the songs from the final recorded version. They fit together nicely!
