Mrugavani National Park | Hyderabad

This video is about Mrugavani National Park located in Hyderabad. It covers an area of 3.6 square kilometers. It was declared as a National Park in year 1994 and was inaugurated by NT Rama Rao. Here we can find a library and an Education Center in regards to the Environment a museum and auditorium which exibits wildlife. Visitors may go for safari rides. This park is located near to Chilkur Balaji Temple. It is home to 600 different types of plants like Teak, Bamboo, Sandal, Palas and Rela as the most common. It has 100 species of birds in which Peacock, Flower Peckers, Lapwings and Warblers are common ones. Animals like Cheetal, Sambar, Wild Boar, Jungle Cat, Civet Cat, Lizard, Python, Russell Viper ans Mongoose Monitor Lizard also can be seen.
