American Fork Canyon To Grove Creek | Chris Flat Trail

Timpooneke / (Timponeeke?) -Chris Flat Trail to Grove Creek in Pleasant Grove

Did you know that there is a trail called Chris Flat that takes you from the Timpooneke side of the top of American Fork Canyon all the way to Grove Creek in Pleasant Grove? I've been wanting to mountain bike on this trail for a few years and just never got out there with the people who ride it. I didn't want to do it alone the first time necessarily because I didn't know where you turn to get to the right trail and I guess I've been lazy. So today we got together with Jeremy the biking viking (sans beard) Jason the eye doc, James and Trenton and we did it. It was an absolute blast. We had about 1300 vertical feet of climbing with 4500 vertical descent. My favorite part is when you first see the view of the backside of the mountains and then when coming through Grove Creek.
