Kosovo monestray siege drone footage released

Police in Kosovo released drone footage showing a group of heavily armed men sitting outside a Serbian Orthodox monastery.

The footage was filmed in Banjska village, where a gun battle between police and ethnic Serbs broke out on Sunday.

No group has come forward to claim responsibility for the attack or explain the motives of the gunmen. Kosovar authorities have accused Serbia of backing the armed militants; Serbia says the authorities are to blame for mistreating residents in the Serb-majority area.
