Reynal (President and CEO of The Women’s Cup) and Adrian Jacob (Head of Football at World Sevens Football — W7F) discuss the power of exciting disruptive tournaments to advance women's football. World Sevens Football is a global 7v7 women’s football series that debuted in May 2025 with a successful event in Estoril, Portugal. Featuring fast-paced seven-a-side matches and a $5 million prize pool per tournament, W7F brings together top professional clubs in an exciting new format. Next, eight elite clubs from across the Americas provide the crowds with the chance to experience another groundbreaking W7F tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (December 2025).

Prior to W7F, Adrian was Chairman/Executive Manager at Chelsea FC Women for eleven years. During that time, he transitioned the team from a part-time club with sixteen players training twice weekly to the most successful club in England, winning seventeen trophies along the way, including eight Women's Super League (WSL) championships. In his leadership role, he oversaw strategy and managed relationships with the major stakeholders, including the FA, UEFA, ECA, FIFA, and the league. Adrian also served on the WSL Executive Committee as the representative of the WSL clubs.

As President and CEO of The Womens Cup, John Paul has transformed the tournament into the world’s premier women’s invitational club football competition. Under his leadership, TWC has expanded globally through the TWC Global Series, staging events in Madrid (2023), Cali (2024), Kansas City (2024), Louisville (2021, 2022, 2024), São Paulo (2025), and a landmark “Special Edition” in Milan (2025).

TWC unites elite clubs from all five continents, creating a one-of-a-kind platform for global competition at the highest level. Since its inception, 24 different clubs have taken part, with past champions including Racing Louisville, OL Reign, Atlético de Madrid, NJ/NY Gotham FC, KC Current and Juventus.

John Paul has been involved in the Sports, Tourism & Entertainment Industry for over 30 years. He managed Catedral Alta Patagonia, South America's premier Ski & Snowboard Resort during the late 90's to early 00', overseeing all Winter Sports competitions and creating Snow Marketing, an industry exclusive agency responsible for developing, among other properties, the International Beach Snowboard Tour. He was also the first President of the Argentine Ski Resort Association; started a Publishing company dedicated to the Outdoor Industry and wrote several books in the process; ran Patagonia Publishing and later Patagonia Media, both companies responsible for publishing books and producing TV series for the American market; created Onside Entertainment and FXE Futbol, promoting South American football in the US; participated in major football and entertainment projects in association with Walt Disney World, La Liga, NASCAR, Torneos and Premier Parks; acquired the rights to a professional soccer franchise and bid against David Beckham for the development of a stadium complex in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and developed Daytona Soccer Fest, the first ever large scale Sports and Music Festival (July 2022).
