Long before Paul Heyman worked in the WWE as Brock lesnar's advocate, long before he offered his services to CM Punk, long before he was writing wrestling shows for Smackdown and even before Paul Heyman began a wrestling revolution with ECW, Paul Heyman once managed a star studded faction in WCW known as The Dangerous Alliance.

The Dangerous Alliance also lived in the AWA with original members Adrian Adonis and The Original Midnight Express, however it wasn't until Paul E Dangerously was relieved of his WCW commentary duties that the most well remembered iteration of the Alliance was born. Featuring members Ravishing Rick Rude, Madusa, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, Bobby Eaton and Stunning Steve Austin, The Dangerous Alliance was a force to be reckoned with in WCW. The viewership numbers increased while The Alliance were on TV screens during early 1992, proving that fans were willing to tune into WCW television shows to see the faction.

The Dangerous Alliance mainly feuded with Sting, Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, culminating in their excellent WarGames match in 1992 that is still remembered as one of the best cage matches in World Championship Wrestling History.
