At least six people were killed after an avalanche hit Sikkim's Nathula area on Tuesday. As per reports, four males, one female and one child have died after the avalanche struck the area, causing a tourist bus to fall into a deep gorge.

The avalanche, which occurred at the 14th milestone on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, had trapped 25-30 tourists, according to defence sources.
