June 28th 2011 - Maidstone Grammar School for Girls was completely silent for a whole day! All teachers, students and staff took part in a sponsored silence and so did not make a sound between 8:40am and 3:30pm! All lessons were conducted in silence and there was a range of fun activities at break and lunch time including a silent disco and a big draw competition. The Great Silence is returning to MGGS in 2018!
